But first, be aware...Advocare's products contain 300% of the RDA Niacin-- that's toxic folks. If you start flushing and have rashes, your body is reacting to too much Niacin. Regular use of Advocare will product these common Niacin side effects which include... Liver toxicity Worsened glycemic control in diabetics Aggravated ulcers Irregular heart beat Headaches Increased risk of gout Liver inflammation Increased liver enzyme productionFYI - Here are the things about the 24 day challenge that may help you save money:1. Herbal Cleanse. Amounts to a Metamucel equivalent. Save your money and buy your laxatives at Walmart.2. Omega Plex. Again, save some money and buy fish oil.3. Spark. Have 1 cup of coffee or a diet Dew.4. Meal replacement shakes. Put a scoop of the $14 prtein along with a cup of skim milk and banana and blend. It tastes a lot better and has more protein.5. MNS - instead, have a cup of greek yogurt and some almonds.6. Probiotics...Have some more yogurt and dairy.Summary; The reason people lose weight is because if you follow this plan, you can not have alcohol, you cut out all refined carbs and it recomends you workout 30 minutes 5 to 6 days a week which most people that start this challenge are not currently doing.The directions state NO coffee so you have to purchase the Spark for your morning caffiene fix. I've lost 5 lbs in 10 days. The first few days were very hard. The instruction book doesn't give good information on what you can and can't eat. I've only got enough energy drink to last 3 days but still have 14 days to go. Looks like I will need to spend another $50 to keep following the plan.

I was extremely excited to try Advocare 24 Day Challenge and was told great things about it! Many co-workers of mine had done it with mixed results and so I had expectationscsince I eat healthy and exercise 5 days a week. Well, the 24 Days have come and gone and I didn't lose even one pound. I did everything right but don't know why I didn't lose.Very disappointed.
